A member asked:

What does high gra# and high gra% mean on a blood test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Granulocytes: Granulocytes are mostly neutrophils, the cells that are most lethal most quickly to bacteria. Ignore the percentages. Look to see if the absolute numbers # are high or low. I can raise my granulocyte # to four times normal by spending twenty minutes in an icy-cold shower (i tried it); labs mean nothing apart from the clinical context. Good luck.
