Cherry angioma: A perfectly round lesion, approximately the size of a pen tip, occuring on the chest, abdomen and extremities, which disappears when compressed is probably a cherry angioma. These are benign vascular lesions, which occur as a consequence of aging and hormonal flux. Laser therapy is safe but will not prevent future development of other lesions.

Red mark: A round red mark that disappears when you touch it, then quickly returns, is likely a vascular lesion (not cancerous). It could be an angioma, for instance.
