Sometimes before eating, i become very hungry, followed by nauseousness, almost to the point of vomiting. once i eat this goes away. the cause?

Nausea: One thing that comes to mind are ulcers (although there could be many other explanations). I'd followup with your doctor for this one - they'll do an abdominal exam, take a more thorough history and possibly test for h. Pylori, +/- trial of an antiacid after testing.
