Trileptal: Certain neurologists may go beyond the maximal therapeutic levels to achieve an effect. That is quite common. I have seen Trileptal ranges in the 2400-2800mg range.

Trileptal: Depends on the age, condition being treated, use as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy, and your kidney's health. Highest dose I am aware of is 2,400mg. per day in divided doses.
