Less effective: The rapid onset and high levels that a single large dose of antibiotic provides can be more effective than a lower dose for several days. To ensure that the treatment was effective, get tested again for chlamydia in a week or two after treatment. Please be careful in the future and read the label on all medications prior to taking them.
