Probably not: Uristat (phenazopyridine) is prescribed to relieve symptoms of urinary tract burning, pain & discomfort. Effectiveness varues from poor to fair. Antibiotics are needed to clear up a uti, if that is the problem. Some uristat (phenazopyridine) is probably secreted into breast milk & has never nor will ever br testyed on babies, so effect is unknown. Best advice is don't take it. Consult your lactation expert.
