Depends on nerves: Signs and symptoms of nf2 usually result from vestibular schwannomas (acoustic neuromas) in both ears.Benign tumors growing on nerve carrying sound and balance information from inner ear to brain.Resulting signs and symptoms appear in the late teens.Gradual hearing loss, ringing of ears, poor balance. Addition symptoms with other nerves include facial dropnumbness and weakness in arms and legs.
