Many things: It is clinically indicated for chronic neuropathic (nerve) pain affecting the trunk and extremities. In the us we use this mostly for people who have failed surgery to the spine and continue to have pain. In europe it is used for refractory angina (chest pain) and non-operable peripheral vascular disease. I have used it for chronic abdominal and pelvic pain as well.
