What's bursitis and how is it going to affect my elbow?

Bursitis: Is a benign condition of the elbow characterized by swelling over the point of the elbow. It usually goes away by itself. If not, a neoprene elbow sleeve may help. I try to avoid aspirating these, as they can get infected. Surgery rarely required to excise the bursa.

See details: Bursitis is inflammation of a bursa which in turn is a pouch that helps to reduce friction from tendon or muscle inflammation. The ole crayon bursa sits at the point of the elbow and you will see a swelling there.
