Not really!: Rheumatoid vasculitis, increasingly rare, particularly associated with cryoglobulins, might harm organs-but rare. The most common organ issue identified with RA is slow developing pulmonary fibrosis which I have seen and which can cause death. Still rare.

Very rare!: I have seen it once with croyoglobulinemic vasculitis. Long term pulmonary fibrosis can also occur, but this is gradual rather than acute. It, however, can kill.
