A member asked:

Can "necrotizing fasciitis" infections cause endocarditis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: Any serious infection, sepsis, or even bacteria in the blood stream could result in endocarditis if the person is at risk for heart valve disease. Even something as minor as a dental infection could result in endocarditis in those at risk.
