Not long term: There are a variety of braces that can be worn to "improve" posture problems; from fairly flexible to quite rigid. The problem is that they result in atrophy and stiffness which can ultimately worsen the problem. Strengthening of the core and postural exercises is much better. One should also get an exam and X-ray to make sure there is not an underlying spinal deformity.
