Not really "disease": Some psychotropic medications -- especially antipsychotics -- can cause movement disorders such as tardive dyskinesia and parkinsonian-like syndromes. These may be permanent, even after stopping the medication. Some, like zyprexa and seroquel (quetiapine) especially, can cause weight gain and metabolic syndrome. Mood stabilizers like Depakote may do this too. Lithium can cause hypothyroidism, etc.
