I had an abdomenal incision for a hysterctomy but the site above the scar looks like a buldge or flap of skin that was not like that before. what should i do?

Depends: Depends on how long ago the surgery was. It can take 3-6 months for a scar to soften & remodel. Sometimes there can be some raised skin at one of the ends of the scar. If it is a deeper bulge or swelling, see your surgeon to be sure a hernia is not forming.

Tummy bulge: Your scar is likely more firm and fixed than the skin that is above it, which is what makes it look like you have a bulge. If this persists, you might consider a scar revision or a tummy tuck.

Revision: This is common after a hysterectomy. The scar can adhere itself to the abdominal wall causing the skin above to bulge. A revision of the scar, mini tummy tuck, or full tummy tuck would help.
