Is it an infected spider bite or and infected boil?

Dificult to say: Both might look very similiar though a spider bite usually has bite marks. Depends on type of spider.

Uncertain: If no spider was seen - wouldn't assume the lesion is due to a spider bite. This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination & other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes.
