Dyspareunia: Pain on intercourse is not normal. You did not say what was painful or where. If your hysterectomy was accompanied by removal of the ovaries you may have some estrogen deficiency and not be lubricating appropriately. If this is not the cause, you should be examined thoroughly by an ob/gyn doctor.
