A member asked:

I am a patient of thyroid and after pregnancy my pulse rate is high99 but my thyroid report is normal so what should i do for a normal pulserate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hydrate, relax: A normal heart rate is typically 60-100. That said, one's physiologic circumstances can easily dictate a reason for a faster heart rate. Dehydration, anxiety, anemia, thyroid status, and other physiologic stressors can drive the heart rate up mildly, though you are still in the normal range and many of those issues are common after pregnancy. If you feel heart racing, uncomfortable, see doc.
