Couple things: Sex involved friction of penile tissue to female genital tissue. So, prolonged sex may cause temporary swelling from friction. However, infection is another possible cause, so if concerned have your gyn do a quick evaluation. If the swelling persists you need to consider a bartholin's cyst as well, though less likely.
