Sounds like: You have injured yourself some way, causing discomfort & bruising. Are you on blood thinners like aspirin, Plavix or coumadin (warfarin)? If so you need to discuss the bruising with your doctor. Also if the problem persists or gets worse over a few days, see your doctor.
