Possibly: The mode of transmission is not well understood but since heliobacter pylori dna has been found in saliva, gastric juices, and feces it is possible that it could be spread via saliva from person to person via the oral-oral route. Waterborne transmission via oral- fecal contamination is also considered likely. Contaminated endoscopes have also been rarely implicated in transmission.
