In one ear--: Most likely a blocked eustacian tube has occurred which can affect hearing. In turn a disorder in the back of your throat could cause this blockage and referred pain to the eye. A nastier possibility is that an abnormal connection has formed between an artery & another adjacent blood vessels (fistula) resulting in excessive blood flow adjacent to the ear and eye.
