A member asked:

What causes twinge or very slight pain in the left chest area? no shortness of breath & no other symptoms. bp normal. no respiratory issues.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Typically it's caused by musculoskeletal problems, ie. Pinched nerve between the ribs, etc. However, in people at high risk for heart disease, even this may have to be investigated so cardiac causes are ruled out.
