Depends on cause: Although you are being treated for herpes, itching may have other causes including stds, vaginal infection, skin conditions, allergic reaction to condoms, gels, soap, sprays, even your partner's semen. You may find relief changing the medication, the dosage, or frequency. Wear cotton underwear or none when possible (to air out the vaginal area). Use good wiping technique. See your doctor.
