I have been having lower abdominal pains with brownish discharge before my period and now after my period . what could be the cause of that.?

This could be normal: Lower abdominal pain with cramping is fairly normal around periods. Brownish discharge before and after the period could also be normal. Try using tylenol (acetaminophen) and Ibuprofen for pain management, hot water bottle or heating over the abdomen can also help decrease cramping. If your symptoms continue, it would be worth seeing your family practice physician.
