Bacteria, fungi, : Viruses, TB like organisms, parasites etc. Microbiology labs culture body fluids and tissues to diagnose routine infections with bacteria, fungi, viruses, TB etc. These labs also perform molecular tests for infectious agents, usually viruses, e.g., hiv, hepatitis b and c etc.
