URGENT: A toothache along with swelling would indicate an infection. This is a potentially dangerous situation and requires that she be brought to a dentist (Pedodontist) right away for a proper evaluation and treatment. Check her temperature and if it is elevated and you cannot see a dentist right away, bring her to the ER of a local hospital or 24/7 emergency medical facility.

Pain is often relieved temporarily with Ibuprofen or Tylenol (acetaminophen). See a pedodontist ASAP for diagnosis and treatment.
