A member asked:

The tip of my index finger has been numb and tingling for the past three days now--what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pressure symptoms: Mainly the symptoms will occur from compression of digital nerve (finger nerve), or possibly median nerve at wrist. Because symptoms are so localized, problems localized to finger are most likely. Small arteries to finger might be compromised. Local trauma to the tip is frequent in certain jobs or hobbies (or even abusing your remote control).
