Careful: I am very glad to hear that you are recovering and have gained back some of your body weight. Please speak to your psychiatrist regarding your concerns surrounding your body image. It is important to get feedback from others regarding this as you continue to heal.

Takes time: Regaining weight after severe anorexia can take quite some time to redistribute and "look normal" - in fact, i personally felt i looked like a fat-bodied "bug" for several years, but I have fully recovered. But yes, there is a prolonged time of odd weight distribution your doctor won't want to discuss, but is normal!
