Several causes: Need more information. If there is gum recession, could be root sensitivity. Also, you said "teeth" rather than "tooth". You may have cavities or multiple issues causing more than one tooth to be sensitive. Sometimes it's not teeth at all, but a neuralgia. An exam is needed to narrow down the cause.

Cold or hot?: After drinking cold it could be recession of the gums or decay, if pain to hot liquids then you may need a root canal, best to visit your dentist.
