At 6 months: The american academy of pediatrics recommends breastfeeding as the sole source of nutrition for ~6 mos. & continuing until 12 mos. Nurse a little first if she's really hungry. Then switch to small half-spoonfuls of pureed food of your choice & talk her through it. Yum, good! respect her cues for hunger/satiety. Feed her during family meals. Introduce new foods every 2-3 days. See below.
