Spider bites: If they get infected, antibiotics are indicated. Otherwise, you can use anti-histamines orally or topically to relieve the symptoms of swelling and itching.

Shoes!: Seriously though, are you sure they are spider bites. Many of my patients blame spiders when other insects and skin disorders are to blame. Few spider bites cause significant harm to humans. The brown recluse bite causes a nasty ulcer which needs professional treatment and black widow bites are systemically toxic. Otherwise, a good cleaning and watching for infection should suffice.
