Thorough Hair Wash: The treatment is three folds; 1. Don't use the oil for hair untill the ithcy scalp is treated. 2. Use medicated shampoos like polytar (coal tar) thrice a week to wash hairs thoroughly. 3. Always rinse the hairs thoroughly before applying shampoo.
