Lumbar radiculopathy: In the lower back, a nerve can be "pinched" by a disc herniation, or by foraminal narrowing. Unilateral leg weakness, associated with pain and numbness might be seen. If at l-4, weakness of thigh muscles, l-5 weakness foot dorsiflexors, s-1 weakness of foot plantar flexors.
