Unlikely: Now 2+ years after the fact, further recovery is unlikely.

Not by waiting: After about 1 year, there is not much chance of further recovery of facial function. If it looks like the symmetry is improving, that is probably from muscle shortening of the facial muscles over time. See a facial plastic surgeon who specializes in this problem for reconstruction options. There are some great options for you!
