How long can a fractured ankle take to heal?

Depends: Depends on several factors. If the fracture ends are in good alignment, a normal healthy person may heal in 6-8 weeks. If there is gapping of the fracture or if the patient has certain medical conditions that delay healing, the time until fracture union will be prolonged.
