Immobility causes it: Anytime you are not using your body, muscles or sedentary your bones will weaken and look pale on scan. Tx the rsd and over time with increase activity the bones will strengthen to a stable state. Do not take meds to strengthen the bones, it will make the rsd worse! see my other post on pain issues.

Leads to: Crps can cause worsening osteoporosis. The decreased bone density is usually seen at the limb effected by crps / rsd.
