Cloaked RNA virus : Rubella is a RNA virus that is easily transmitted easily in nasal & throat secretions. As many as half of those infected have no symptoms & for those that do in childhood it is rather mild.A facial rash that spreads in a day, enlarged lymph nodes, fever& rarely other complications.If infected during pregnancy, the baby may abort, develop anomalies or be deaf, mute & blind.
