My daughter keeps fainting and her arm and hand goes numb?

Further testing: The association of numbess w fainting begs to make certain that a neurological cause is not present. More history/testing might clarify if there was a prodrome of symptoms or post event symptoms that might suggest seizure activity. That said, numbness could also occur after changes in respiratory rate (such as hyperventilation) or sympathetic tone (neurocardiogenic syncope). Needs to see a doc.

Brain Ischemia: The symptom complex suggests a problem called "carotid steal". You need to see a neurologist or a vascular surgeon. Don' t delay, with a "faint" you could get hurt. An ultrasound can be used to diagnose.
