Which side effects?: To go from one ssri to another (citalopram to paxil (paroxetine)) you don't generally need a wash-out period. Also, potential discontinuation symptoms from citalopram would conceivably be covered by paxil (paroxetine). If the Clonazepam was stopped suddenly, that's not a good idea. Can you say whether you're still on clonazepam, and what you're experiencing? I'm sure your own physician would want to know too.
