White color: Generally speaking a whitish color on the mucosal surfaces of the mouth can represent fungal colonization. Additionally, depending on risk factors like smoking/alcohol consumption, a focal area of white plaque may represent a cancerous lesion (often associated with ulceration). Any suspicious lesion or discoloration in your mouth warrants an exam and some follow-up. Hope this helps!
