0-6 wks but depends: This really depends on the type of work and the techniques used. If your work requires heavy manual labor with strenuous upper extremity exertion and you have sub muscular placement of large implants, 6 weeks may be advised. However many patients take 3-5 days off from desk jobs.

Can be short: Implants placed under the muscle can be more painful initially and will require a longer recovery time, especially if your work requires and sort of upper body exertion. My patients usually return to work at 3 - 4 weeks. Implants above the muscle can allow you to get back to work in under a week. Be well, dr. Fred coville - linwood, nj.

Not much time off: Most patients take 3-5 days off of work if they do a desk job. Patients who have to do a lot of lifting, pulling or carrying may have to take a month off of work.

Quick Recovery: The discomfort from breast augmentation is dependent on the size of the implant you desire. Larger implants...More discomfort...Longer recovery. On average, you should be able to get back to work within a few days (or even quicker with small implants). Six weeks before strenuous exercises. http://www.dassmd.com/breast-augmentation/index.html.

Depends.: Most patients who undergo breast augmentation are able to return to a “desk job” 5 to 7 days subsequently. Those patients who have more physically demanding jobs require a longer period of time away from work. I ask my patients to avoid heavy lifting/strenuous activity for 4 weeks after the procedure. Driving should wait until patients are off of medications ; can respond to an emergency safely.

Varies....: This really depends upon what exactly is done in surgery. Are implants placed or is a lift added and if so what type of lift? In a simple case patients can return to work in a week or even less particularly if they have low activity jobs.

24 Hr Rapid Recovery: We perform a mini-incision rapid-recovery breast augmentation, through which most patients (over 90%) will be back to their normal routine in 24 hours, with the exception of strenuous exercise. Patients will also experience less pain, bruising and scarring. Breast augmentation is considered an outpatient procedure, so you will be able to go home the same day as your surgery.
