How long does increased saliva associated with pregnancy last?

Variable: Hormonal changes/salivary changes are not set in stone and exaclty the same for anyone. Likely it will cont during pregnancy and likely during nursing. Know that increased saliva is only good for your oral health and helps reduce the risk of decay by buffering acidic encounters.

After baby born: If you are having increased saliva while pregnant, it is probably due to a hormonal change that the fetus is causing. I would imagine your saliva level will return to normal after your baby is born. However, excess saliva is not necessarily a bad thing. It rinses the teeth of debris and buffers plaque acids.
