Does GERD causes anxiety, shortness of breath and palpatations?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Pamela Pappas

No: Gerd does not usually cause symptoms like anxiety, shortness of breath, and palpitations. But anxiety disorders, exposure to some stimulant medications, and certain other conditions can. Please see your physician about this.
