Mouth ulcer: Mouth ulcers are caused by viruses. These ulcers can really be painful. Palliative relief can be obtained by placing some orajel (a topical anesthetic) on the affected tissue. Follow a bland diet for a few days as well as rinse your mouth with salt water.
