Doctor can evaluate: A person with possible morning fevers can get a big calendar and write down the morning and the bedtime temperatures for 1-2 weeks (an ear thermometer is easy to use, and the temperatures from each ear should match fairly closely). Then, he can take the calendar to the doctor for an evaluation (go sooner if feeling ill) to look for infection, hormonal problems, auto-immune disorders, cancers, etc.
