Sphincter of oddi: There a couple of options for pain management and to prevent recurrent pancreatitis including: calcium channel blockers, nitrates, ursodeoxycholic acid, endoscopic or surgical sphincterotomy, and even botulism or electroacupuncture (but these aren't standard treatments, and still needs more data).
