Hoarseness: Sometimes when there is a condition referred to as postnasal drip there is also an associated hoarseness which will affect the quality of singing.

Yes it effects : Post nasal drip can effect singing as there is inflammation and it effects the vocal cords and can give you a hoarseness of voice.
