Is laser hair removal effective?

Yes: I have had laser hair reduction. It smarted and i needed to bite on a towel but it was worth it. Approximately 90% reduction. I recommend the candela gentlelase. (i do not own one but that is the one i lease).

Yes: It's very effective if done properly and using the right lasers with the right settings. Works best on dark coarse hair. Patients with darker skin are at higher risk of getting burned and have to be treated with different lasers and settings than patients with white skin. It's possible to get 80% or more hair reduction after a series of treatments.

It can be...depends!: First, laser hair removal works best on brown or black hair. The laser is attracted to the pigment in the hair follicle. Laser light is NOT attracted to gray, blond, red, or very light colored hair. Many people who have laser hair removal will get "tune-ups" or maintenance treatments from time to time.
