Absolutely!: Some molds release toxins that can cause a variety of problems, mostly with breathing, in humans in general. Some people will develop allergies to the molds; this often starts with nasal congestion and sneezing, and may develop into cough and wheezing as well. Remove all the mold with a dilute bleach solution but more importantly, eliminate the water leakage that allowed the mold to grow.
