Many: Lots of viruses such as epstein-barr virus are not seasonal so occur all year round but certain viruses occur much more commonly during the summer months including the enteroviruses such as coxsackie virus and the mosquito-borne viruses such as west nile, california encephalitis and dengue viruses.
